Hydro excavation is the process of using pressurised water to break down the earth’s soil, which is then vacuumed up.

This is a non-invasive, non-destructive method of exposing underground services and is the safest way to expose or excavate around these services. This technique can be used in place of other excavation processes.

In the most basic sense, we put the pipe in the ground, and aim to do so with as minimal disruption as possible.

Skid Mounted Vacuum Excavator VSK100XT

The VSK100XT Mega Vac has an 11,000 litre spoil tank capacity and the CFM to match. The Vermeer Vacuum Excavator saves time, labour, and material handling costs. Most of all, it reduces surface disruption in areas with improved landscapes and reduces the risks of damaging utilities during the excavation process.

Hydro Excavation

The HyperVax 14000 is the latest addition to Clarke Underground’s plant and machinery. This has the latest technology with high suction capacity and high air flow with the latest noise reduction system. This is a non-invasive, non-destructive method of exposing underground services and is the safest way to expose or excavate around these services. With a 14,000 litre spoil tank and a suction rate of between 4,000-9,700m3 pump speed of up to 1900 RPM, the unit also features 27 inches of suction, and high airflow of 6,000 CFM.
