At Clarke Underground we consider health and safety to be the top priority within our everyday business operations. We pride ourselves on our health and safety slogan, ‘zero harm – zero strike’.

This slogan refers to protecting our staff and ensuring we have ‘zero harm’ within the team. It also relates to our GPR service, which ensures we avoid hitting unknown existing services; ‘progress first, but safety always’.

Keeping our staff and clients safe while we work is our primary goal. To help us achieve this, we provide and support our staff with adequate training to ensure they are skilled and confident in what they do.

We are members of the Civil Contractors Association of New Zealand, and we support their vision of ‘quality people building quality infrastructure in a safe and thriving industry’.

We utilise the PeopleSafe management system to support our commitment to health and safety.

Times have changed and here at Clarke Underground we take our responsibility to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep people safe and well, very seriously. We have plans in place to manage the risk associated with this virus.
